What is PLC???
A Programmable Logic Controller i.e PLC or Programmable Controller is like industrial computer
which perform very important role now a days. For easy understanding you can compare it with a human body, for example if some one asks you to change the position of your tv, how you will work?? first you will notice the present position and required position of TV , then you will stand up and will complete the action .
Similarly if you want to do it with PLC , then PLC should know both positions of TV using proximity sensor(input) and a motorized arm for movement (o/p) and in which way operation will carried out will be done via a logic or program like human mind.
